The very first ‘Mission: Impossible,’ all 171 episodes of it, is here

Is it possible to get a more complete Blu-ray Disc than one delivered by CBS DVD/Paramount this Thanksgiving season? No, that mission is impossible.

“Mission: Impossible: The Original TV Series” is a 46-disc Blu-ray of the entire series, from 1966 to 1973, starring Peter Graves. And, oh, what a series it was, led by the Impossible Missions Force (IMF), leaders of espionage missions.

All 171 episodes feature the now-famous tape-recorded message outlining the latest task for the group to tackle, including rounding up evil dictators, exploiting crime lords, and going after corrupt organizations.

The strong cast includes Steven Hill, Martin Landau, Barbara Bain and Greg Morris. Oh, and also look for Leonard Nimoy, Lesley Ann Warren, and Sam Elliot!
