Who in the world would like a muck-encrusted plant man? Just about everyone!
Yes, “The Return of Swamp Thing” is a “thing” in 2023. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the movie, a special-edition 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray combo pack has been released by Lightyear Entertainment.
The pristine clarity marked by the 4K transfer enables the muck to stand out even more.
Dick Durock plays the swamp thing, who tries to save a fetching woman (Heather Locklear) from the evil plans of her mad scientist father.
The special edition features two new special features: an interview with the producer and a music video. Loads of previously released special features are included, including audio commentaries, interviews, 1989 promo reel, and more.
