“NADIA: The Secret of Blue Water: The Complete Series” lovingly restores the landmark animated series with a 4K restoration on Blu-ray Disc.
The GKids title is a true sci-fi adventure on the high seas and is loosely based on the works of Jules Verne. All 39 episodes from 1990-1991 are included. Of course, its popularity later inspired a film, mange, and video games. The plot revolves around a mysterious girl who possesses a highly sought-after crystal ball and a teenage inventor.
With all-new 4K restoration, this title features both the Japanese-language and English-dub versions of the episodes, as well as several bonus features and a new booklet. The extras include a TV spot, sneak-preview featurette, and prologue.

A widow remarries, but the new husband has no interest in sex, so she welcomes the sexy ghost of her late husband. This erotic comedy has been restored in 4K and includes plenty of extras, including a new commentary by director Bruno Baretto. Other bonuses include a behind-the-scenes featurette and 16-page booklet.
“A Tale of Love and Desire” (Icarus Films/Distrib Films US) is an unconventional sexual coming-of-age story made in France. A young man deals with having sex for the first time with a fellow student at Sorbonne University in Paris. Their mutual interest in ancient, sexually charge Arabic poetry kindles the flame.
“I’m Charlie Walker” (Shout! Studios), based on a true story about a trucking entrepreneur who, in 1971, helped clean the coastline that threatened much of the San Francisco Bay after two oil tankers collided off the coast, spilling millions of gallons of crude oil. Former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr., now 88 years old, felt compelled to make a statement about the movie by saying: “I was a witness to Charlie Walker’s amazing story of grit and determination in the face of adversity as it unfolded in San Francisco back in 1971. To finally see his triumphant life story hit the big screen with a major motion picture brings a huge smile to my face.” Walker, who is still alive, is 89 years old.
