“Finding Dory” (Disney Pixar) fulfills a hope that millions of moviegoers had a decade ago after “Finding Nemo.” The movie was just too good to end without further exploration. My, how this movie explores.
Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) reunites with Marlin (Albert Brooks) and, of course, Nemo, but is as forgetful as ever and maybe even worse. Her short-term memory loss has left her in a quandary, but the old gang rallies behind her for a happy ending.
Viewers might even be left with a tear.
Blu-ray bonus features include a very entertaining one about Hank the octopus, and how the character nearly broke the bank for Pixar. The complexities of creating Hank are unreal.
