Home Entertainment) is impeccable.The Scooby-Doo characters form a fearless female duo in this new non-animation mystery, available on Blu-ray and DVD. Set before they joined the Scooby-Doo gang, Daphne (Sara Jeffery) plays a transfer student to an innovative high school that features a learning center of state-of-the-art robots and high-tech gadgets. She has a tight online relationship with Velma (Sarah Gilman), but now she gets to go to school with her.
Suddenly, top-notch students begin to disappear, and other kids become zombie-like. The girls work together to solve the mystery and stave off becoming victims themselves.
This flick, tailored for kids but enjoyable for all ages, is produced by Ashley Tisdale and Jennifer Tisdale. May girl power grow stronger!

The film captures their struggles through childhood, of finding their way through life, and the series of unlikely events leading up to their heroic actions.
“Negative” (Monarch Home Entertainment) stars Katia Winter as an agent on the run, done in by a double-crossing infiltrator. A deadly cartel is on her heels. A photographer innocently crosses her path, and as the cartel is about to bump him off, she kidnaps him to save his life This unlikely pair jaunts across the southwestern United States to find a safe haven.
“The Sweet Escape” (Icarus Films) follows a man with a unique midlife crisis. This middle-aged graphic artist has a sudden impulse for an adventure of rowing, even though he has never rowed in his life. With his wife’s urging, he sets off to discover surprises and unexpected encounters. This French film (with English subtitles) is both charming and humorous to give viewers a pleasant “escape” from reality.
“Please Stand By” (Magnolia Home Entertainment) stars Dakota Fanning as a brilliant woman who has autism. She enters a “Star Trek” screenplay to prove her ability to survive in the real world. She must trave hundreds of miles outside her protected boundaries to submit her script in person. Fanning’s incredible acting carries this film. Toni Collette also shines as her therapist.
“Gunsmoke: The Thirteenth Season Volumes One and Two” (Paramount Home Video Distribution/CBS Home Entertainment) is available as separate DVDs. Marshal Matt Dillon (James Arness) corrals dangerous outlaws and deals with the problems of the wild west. Between the two DVDs, there are 26 full-color episodes from the 1967-1968 season along with original episodic trailers.
“Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Singles Collection” (Shout! Factory) is a must-have for any fan. When DVDs first came out in the late 1990s, a few episodes from the franchise were released individually, or in one case, paired. But these episodes weren’t included in the numbered volumes that came soon after and have remained for nearly 20 years. Long out of print, these “single” DVDs are now together on this DVD, along with lots of compelling bonus features. The episodes are: “The Crawling Hand,” “The Hellcats,” “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians,” “Eegah,” “I Accuse My Parents,” and “Shorts Volume 3.”

Other guests include Johnny Carson, Tim Conway, Rich Little, Bob Newhart, Carl Reiner, Rod Serling, Flip Wilson and others.
“Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert, 2014-2017” (Time Life) is available on Blu-ray or DVD. Regardless, this is the first time ever for fans to purchase. It includes four Hall of Fame ceremonies featuring 53 live performances. Highlights include Ringo Starr with Paul McCartney, Cat Stevens singing “Father & Son,” Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, surviving members of Nirvana, Journey, Cheap Trick, Peter Gabriel, Deep Purple, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Hollies, Small Faces/Faces, Green Day, Chicago, Rush and Yes. Additionally, the title spotlights complete Hall of Fame induction speeches, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin inducting Peter Gabriel, and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich inducting Deep Purple, and Art Garfunkel inducting Cat Stevens.
