There is nothing little about the upcoming Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre season. Actually, maybe there’s a little something little — “Little Women, the Musical.”
The musical, based on Louisa May Alcott’s 1869 classic, will usher in the new season Sept. 11 with a two-week run, through Sept. 26. Shows again will take place at the charming theater building that is part of the Center for Performing Arts in Carmel.
It’s a landmark time for the Civic, as it passes its centennial season.
Reviews will be on the way for the opening show, and subsequent performances of “The Game’s Afoot” (Oct. 23-Nov. 7), “Mary Poppins” (Dec. 11-Jan. 2, 2016), “Doubt, a Parable” (Feb. 5-14) and “Fiddler on the Roof” (April 22-May 7).
