Shout! Factory is celebrating with the DVD release of “Ernie Kovacs: The Centennial Edition.”
The nine-disc boxed set delivers a wide range of Kovacs’ greatest and most memorable performances, including those from his NBC prime-time show, his five ABC specials, his silent show (“Eugene,” a color version), three complete episodes of his game show “Take a Good Look,” his commercials for Dutch Masters Cigars, short films, tributes, and much more.
Another inclusion is the rarely seen pilot for “Medicine Man” co-starring Buster Keaton, the only existing filmed solo interview with Kovacs.
Bonus programs and quite impressive, with interviews, making-of featurettes, 8mm home movies, hall of fame induction and more.

The adventures and landscapes are first rate.
“Snowmance” (Monarch Home Entertainment) is a sweet tale of a romantic woman who, along with her best friend, annually builds a snowman called a “Snow Beau.” After experiencing another breakup immediately before the holidays, she wonders if she will ever find true love of her own.
