Ken Burns is back at it again.
The revered documentarian comes through with a grand slam in “Jackie Robinson” (PBS and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment), which is available on Blu-ray and DVD simultaneously with the PBS airing. The four-hour documentary shows crucial and tangential stories and sub-stories about the first black baseball player.
Indiana’s own Carl Erskine is included in the interviews, along with President Obama, Hollywood and other sports figures and more.
